National Grid

National Grid is a multinational electricity and gas utility company that owns and operates the high-voltage electricity transmission network in England and Wales, as well as electricity distribution networks across the Midlands, South West and South Wales. The company plays a central role in connecting new energy generation to the grid and enabling the transition to a decarbonised energy system, including managing grid connections for transport electrification and industrial decarbonisation programmes.
